The 5th Annual Coast Guard Appreciation Day will take place during the Harbour Town Spring Fest on March 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The event will be held at Harbour Town Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC1.
During this special day, the Hilton Head and Bluffton communities express their gratitude to the active-duty Coast Guard for their unwavering efforts and sacrifices. These brave men and women work tirelessly to keep us all safe and secure. Active-duty members can enjoy free admission for the day by showing their ID’s at the Sea Pines Gatehouse. Upon arrival at Harbour Town, they can collect wristbands at the Coast Guard Auxiliary information tent. These wristbands grant access to various Sea Pines Resort sponsored activities, including:
- Practice Exhibition Rescue: Witness a demonstration involving a USCG Helicopter, Rescue Swimmer, and Surface Vessel from 14:30 to 15:00.
- Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal from 11:30 to 13:30.
- Sidewalk Sale: Explore the offerings from 11:00 to 18:00.
- Antique Car Display: Admire classic cars on display from 12:00 to 16:00.
- Vagabond Boat Tour: Take a scenic boat tour from 14:00 to 15:30.
- Deas Guyz Outdoor Concert: Groove to live music from 13:00 to 16:00.
- Tours of the Lighthouse and Coast Guard Museum: Explore the fascinating history of the area.
