Growing up I always wanted to be a radio D. J. When I was a kid I would set up record players and play D. J. in the basement while my brothers and sisters would be playing outside. I would even use a carrot as a microphone. My idol growing up was the one and only Wolfman Jack.
I believe music connects us with one another and has the ability to take us back. It has the power to bring back memories we thought we long forgot. I have a ton of favorite songs but the one that instantly puts me in a great mood is “I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash.
I have been married to my best friend for over 35 years. We have two sons and seven grandchildren. People who have listened to me over the years know I am all about family.
I recently celebrated 35 years in radio all local right here in the Low Country and Coastal Empire in September 2022 and I can honestly say I’m living the dream!
